So the SuperBowl last night was a let down on two fronts: The quick pass with less than 2 minutes left on 1st & goal when you have one of the most dominant running backs in the national football league sitting in your back field and the Super Bowl commercials were the other disappointment.
I usually really look forward to seeing what the new Budweiser, Doritos or Pepsi spot will look like but this year I can’t say I was thoroughly impressed. Though I was happily surprised at the Nissan commercial that highlighted the ups and downs of a family with a positive message regarding the dad.
I am all about supporting and encouraging positive images of fathers. More positive images of black fathers would have been great but like I said, last night was somewhat less than perfect.
